Just noticed this series has appeared (recently?) on Amazon:

Appears to be an 8-part documentary on the 2021 MotoGP... has anyone seen it? Any good?

Universal 1 star reviews because the dubbing is so bad!  Hopefully they sort it because I'd love a "Drive to Survive" about MotoGP.

I agree, but I find it hard to put my finger on exactly why DTS is better. Clearly the people who made MGU stole the format pretty much lock, stock from DTS. I thought MGU was missing the journos giving context to the stories first of all, but it does have them.
Still think it's enjoyable to get some more context and background if you're into MotoGP, or to get up to speed if you're just getting into it. But yeah, it's not up to the same standard as DTS.

It might be a nice show to binge-watch during the long winter evenings. I don’t like Amazon shows that much, but I will give this one a chance since many people recommend it.
What other Amazon Prime shows do you like, so I don’t buy the subscription just to get access to this one show? There are free websites with movies on the Internet, and if I pay for Amazon, I want to watch everything worth watching there, so I don’t feel like I’ve lost my money.
Have anyone of you, by any chance, watched the new Rings of Power? Is this series any good to a non-fan of the books? |
