Been snowing in East Lothian a lot of the day, only short spell so it's not lying. Going out to Kagyu Samye Ling Monastery on Saturday regardless of weather.

We are going to have an ice age due to the fresh water from Antarctica melting then mixing with the salt water from the Gulf Stream. The density of the water will change causing the Gulf Stream to stop flowing. Gulf stream keeps us toastie.

We're doomed

Apparently New Zealand is the best place to live with things go pear shaped.

It's character building. If you lose the tips of your fingers your character will be enormous.

An inch or two lying the past three mornings but to be honest with lightish winds it hasn't seemed too bad even though it only managed 2 or 3 degrees above freezing.
Last year we had a worse snow event on 12th April but I see there is a chance of another cold plunge next weekend

Yeah it was sunny so I went out on a spin on the new bike - got caught in snow. Light snow, but I was freezing my bollocks off

Rode through it from South London to Blackburn to pick up my new bike. Sun, rain, wind, snow, hail. Had it all.

My mad ginger ex turned up to be supportive in getting the Snarley to the bike shop.

He ended up riding it there himself (cos it was slightly raining and I had a meeting) and upon his return he said it was the worst ride he had ever experienced.
Something is up with the gear/clutch thing ... erm, dunno.
So he's taken the belt and the bits that need welding back on, and left it there with a list a mile long Rolling Eyes

But the good news is that he's ALMOST had the GSX up and running for me this afternoon (whilst I skived off and took a Teams call Laughing ) and he says he thinks it just needs a bit of running and some fresh petrol. Fingers crossed.

Re: the worst thing he's ever ridden...

Are you going to tell him that all harleys are like that before or after he's got the gsx working?

Naaaah, he's ridden it before, when it was in a better mood, and he quite liked it. Only ever let him ride it round the block, or down to the bottom of the road, though. He was talking about buying one himself Brick Wall but its not the same as other Harleys. Its got more funk.

...but then he went and bought the Intruder. Laughing
