high,
just registrated with an short introduction.
first of all i try to communicate using fragments if my 57years old school- english.
I‘m a pensioner living in germanys capital.
since last year im an owner of a suzuki k3 van van.
i enjoy it much cause im sitting comfortable, the bench is not to high to climb up and the gas-consimption can be payed. although, ok everybody knows, the bike is moving like a creeping shifting dune, not really built for trios than more than 100km.
here in forum i will look for experiences other drivers of suzuki 125 vanvan k3 have and like to share.
at this time i will not write much because of my language-knowing, i still habe less experiences with my vanvan cause its running eithout probs and hig journeys are not planed.
i hope the community here will apologize the less knowledge of my english - knowledge.
until here for the first time
thx for this forum and the possibility to take part on other peoples experiences

no he learnt English 57 years ago at school. probably at age 10+, which would make him late 60's to early 70's.

dont Germans have bike forums?

very simple:
first of all i decided after one year i‘ve been driving vanvan to inform myself about the model by looking fir experiences of other drivers/ owners. every now and then i will someting about the model
in germany there are very less van van existing.
for this reason you will find very little informations/ experiences/ ideas about that model.
somebody wrote that more van vans exist in gb.
so i googled and registrated here.
i hope thats ok for you.

shure, no doubt.
but after 15 years mz 250 i am happy with 4 stroke, i was not really happy with a 2 stroke although it was a reliable bike that made me happy most of the time.
specially in the city here, surrounded by people, surrounded by conviction that rescue of climate depends on some 2stroke bikes, convinced that the thoughts you can have grow the best in a 22celsius gas-heated living room.

Wilkommen!

Van Van eh?
What year?

All I could recall was they had thick tyres so found a picture to refresh my memory.
125cc 4 stroke They made them from 2003 to 2016
Looks a fun runabout for short journeys
(NOT autobahn! Smile )
The engine looks like its a development of the GN125

I have only ever seen one or two and my impression was they
are not that common here but it looks like a simple enough bike to maintain

This is a 2009 fuel injected version

After 15 years with an MZ 250 you deserve a medal, a firework display, and a lifetime subscription to Masochists Monthly.

Welcome mate,

I do like the VanVan. I hired one when I was in-between CBT and DAS courses. I had never ridden a larger CC bike at that point so I was happy as a pig in shit at the time.

Bikes need more power to be safe and enjoyable anywhere outside the town/city, in my view anyway.

Get on the autobahn with a Fireblade or something Smile
