Which one to sell?

I have to sell a bike because funds are short. I really am not sure which to sell. I do like them all. What would you do guys?
I have been using the VFR while the others are in a garage at the moment. I'm thinking maybe sell the VFR and use the 600. I'm only really doing crazy stuff, not fitting of my age, on B roads down the Borders. As much as I like to think of it am I realistically going to go touring anytime soon? Nope. So maybe the VFR is surplice. Problem is I really like it. It is great fun, totally planted and goes like a rocket, surprisingly chuckable for a big heavy bike and looks great in my opinion. Maybe sell my dogs instead Laughing

I tend to use teh bikes all year round and really don't want to bugger up the 90's bikes.

CBR1991-1993
250 RR my estimate £3.5k? (It's well sorted)
400 RR my Estimate £2.5k? (Needs some TLC but runs great)
900 RR my Estimate £5k (It's well sorted with low miles)
600 F2 my estimate £1k Sad

even though it's well sorted.
VFR1200FA Estimate £5k Well sorted and only 2700 miles, OEM sat nav. heated grips, panniers and all that shit.

I've got to ask myself whether I need 5 bikes, it is the upside of bipolar that makes me spend every halfpenny I've got on the two wheel vehicle type things.

Sell VFR, buy early Blackbird. Full set of CBRs, still have a sports tourer and have £2-3k in your pocket.

My first reaction was sell the 600 because it’s nicely bracketed by the other bikes such that you might not miss it, but at a paltry £1k I’d rather keep it.

Next in mind was the 400. It is similarly bracketed by others in the collection. However, the 4-stroke 250 seems too close to offer anything different (just a little bit lighter, a bit revvier). At £3.5k I’d sell the 250.

Steelie CBR6s are common (although maybe not in as tidy a condition). 250s and 400s are not.

If I had a 250RR, I'd never sell it but I'd punt the 600 on the basis I'd be able to pick up another one for similar money if I really wanted it.

On a practical point. Isn't the VFR the only E10 compliant bike there?

CBR600 would be my choice. Great bike but doesn’t bring anything to the table in terms of the ownership experience. It’s just a “thing”, like a bottle cap or a piece of lint. Plus if you wanted another one it would be the easiest to replace. Not a huge fan of the VFR but I prefer daily drivers to have fecking huge engines which the VFR has covered.

600 or 400 imo - probably former

RE the big viffer for a sec: MCN reckons annual servicing costs are £200. And yet valve checks are supposedly something of a must - every 16k. That'd mean in a good year, I'd be needing one come the end of the autumn. No way I'd get that done for £200 - and if adjustment was needed it'd be more like four times that.

They're all good bikes, that's your problem. Personally I'd not sell the VFR, they don't make them anymore, having one in fantastic condition will only get harder as time goes on. That said, I'd have been tempted to have bought the VFR off you if it had been a few years ago (but I'm too attached to my VFR800 now).

I'd bin the jellymould 600. It's the more mundane of the selection IMO.

Apart from that, I gotta say that is a nice paddock of well-kept bikes.
