As usual the pics tend to flatter but it is as least strong
I didn't have any anti spatter and couldn't be arsed to go and buy some so got a nice err 'textured' paint effect in places where I couldn't get a flap wheel in flash the nibs off.
I was struggling to get consistent welds after adjusting the power and speed and wondered if my £25 welder was dying
I realised eventually that the feed speed adjuster knob was loose on the shaft and the feed rate stuck on too high a speed.
Turning the shaft by hand got me back on track.
I've got quite bit of stowage space on the old thing now with the top box adding the very useful underseat stowage
