Hi Jeff, not much to report really.
I'm up to around 2800 miles now, which means I've put about 2000 miles on it - about 3 months after I bought it, a change of job meant my commute dropped from 250 miles a week down to more like 50, but I do enjoy riding it, so a lot of those miles have been weekend rides, just heading for nowhere in particular.
We're having a bit of a gas price crisis now (currently around $2.40 a liter here, assuming you're back in NorCal, you're paying something like $1.30) so I've been taking advantage of the upturn in local weather and using it every day for a while.
Still not mad about the suspension, or the seat, but they don't piss me off enough yet to pull the trigger on new parts.
I've become slightly less confident in the tyres, particularly the front, which seems to be more susceptible to potholes and general road imperfections than it was when I got it - might be my imagination, but I've had a couple of unexpected front end twitches and the pressures and tread depths are OK, so maybe they go off over time.
Other than that, no more mods and still nothing has broken or fallen off, so we're all good. ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

Assuming from the spoked wheels that the tires require tubes. That would probably limit your choices for good rubber. ____________________ History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of men - BOC |
