I've got a Runner 125 (With a flat battery and no kick start) I used the jump leads from my other bikes battery to my Runner but then a spark came from the battery now there is no electrics at all.

I pulled out both fuses next to the battery and I think one has blown because it's making a rattling noise.
Do you think thats all it could be?

Also I haven't had the bike long and the previous owner told me he changed a fuse, I took out both the fuses near the battery to check them and they've got diffrent numbers on but they're both red and say 15 on, is this ok?

Sorry for the newb post, Me and electrics don't go.

could be a loose contact with the oxyde . check the fuse with an ohmeter and clean both ends contact on the fuse . i assume 15A is the right size . it's normal , you've got sparks when you put shunts on 2 batteries assuming you plug + on + and - on - , otherwise nice electric blow

I took the two 15 amp fuses out,
One of them has blown as it rattles and the wire is broken. I assume one of them is for lights and the other for power to the ignition for starter motor etc..

Anyways upon inspecting both fused they both look identical and both have "15" on the top but they've got little black numbers on which are diffrent to each other.

One which is not blown says "4f 10 4" the one which is blown says "1b 02 5" on the side of them.

When I go into halfords for a new fuse do these numbers come into account or do I just ask for a 15 amp fuse?

If they look like this just ask for some 15A fuses, you've probably just got different maker's numbers on the sides.

Maybe you connected the other battery up wrong and that's why it sparked and blew the fuse.
