CRF1000 Africa Twin £7,000

I'm selling my Africa Twin. It's a 2016 model, manual version, in Victory Red. I bought it from John Banks Honda in Bury St Edmunds in 2018. I'm the second owner, the first owner bought it from John Banks and later traded it in for a newer version.

I have an MOT and service (inc. valve clearances) booked for the bike in a couple of weeks, so it will be available after that.

It will have done approx 15,660 miles once serviced, and I am not riding it otherwise so that won't go up. I'm including the full Honda luggage in the sale (hard panniers and top box) which is all keyed-alike to the ignition key. It also has Oxford heated grips, a Camel footpeg brace, and I had the suspension upgraded by HM Racing (original suspension was too soft and saggy). I can provide full details of the current setup, and the original springs and shims are included. Otherwise it is in standard condition.

I have just fitted a brand new DID chain and Renthal sprockets, and a new battery. The tyres are Michelin Anakee Adventure and have lots of life left. I converted the rims to tubeless to work with these tyres, which also means you can plug a puncture (not really feasible to repair tubed tyres on the roadside). But I can put inner tubes back in if desired.

I have both keys and the full service history. It has Datatag fitted by Honda from new, but I've never registered it. The bike has always been stored in my garage, it's never been stored outside.

There are a few minor scrapes on the left fairing panel which I have touched up, and they are not very noticeable. I can send a photo of this. I can include a replacement decal if desired, but I decided the scratches were too minor to warrant this.

It's clean and (will be) ready to go. Located in Surrey, looking for £7,000.
