The radio today. Every station has googled 'sad sounding songs' and is currently playing absolute dross.

Recent cars has too bright head lights. Especially LED ones and adaptive ones on Merc. When on coming Merc bounces on a gap. Aaaa.
Cheap cars with after market LED bulbs made in China with wrong lens which illuminate my face not on the road.
Clip on sunglasses Cool are not enough to stop being dazzled these days. I don't like driving at night now.

I've felt like that for a while, since Xenon headlights and it just seems to get worse.

Not gonna lie, love the fully adaptive LEDs on my Mazda 3. They are superb. LED's on the incoming new bike too,
interested to see how they stack up against the car.

This news depresses me. Toyota dealer let 11yo girl with no skill drive an race kart(max 40-50km/h), she hit 2yo boy who was watching. He didn't come back. There was no barriers except corns on the ground. Thumbs Down
I feel sorry for both 2yo boy and 11yo girl.

Got the 'Rona for the first time ever.
Feel a bit ropey, mostly just aching like a motherfucker with a little bit of a throaty dysfunction.
But mostly my gears are ground cos I probably gave it to the Senior Consort. Hopefully he is sturdy enough to survive it.

I've said it before BOAT = Break Out Another Thousand. Laughing

You could speak to your local sub aqua club to see if they can help out - might save you a bob or two.

If that happened in the UK we'd see calls for all Karting to be banned. The trick is to have enough safety to prevent stuff like this, but not so much as to prevent activities like Karting from going ahead. A sad sad story, it sounds like the organisers of this event were somewhat reckless.

Ten dollar snorkel from eBay? (Unless you're an atrocious swimmer. A waterproof floodlight would also be useful.)

If you think I’m going to go snorkelling under my boat on the Broads with the lovely lovely green algae Shocked Sick err? NO!

I like the idea of having an underwater spotlight, that sounds cool.

Either get one that's naturally buoyant or add a float to the wrist strap. You'll thank me later Smile Unless you're planning a lot of underwater excursions ofc Laughing

Reminds me of the guy who threw himself into the Thames to avoid arrest: "must be a foreigner... I mean, the Thames?!"

Why the FUCK does insuring vehicles have to be such a frigging pantomime? Currently insuring my Mazda 3
with Esure. Renewal email arrives, last year fully comp with all the bells and whistles was £252. Renewal quote came in at
£472. How on earth do they sleep at night? Anyway, did the compare thing and found equivalent cover with AXA for £258
so bought that YAY! Quite a way down the list was Esure showing £383, still £90 cheaper than their quote to me. I'm just
off to call Esure next to invite them to post their quote right up their letterbox. Middle Finger Neutral Middle Finger

I went from my Daytona 600 to a CBF600. Daytona was like £120 for the year or something.

Called up to swap to CBF, £50 admin fee (lol) and an increase ins £68 for the bike.

Swiftly cancelled, they swallowed the rest of the insurance premium as a 'change fee' but were talking about billing me the additional cost as the existing paid for service wouldn't cover it. They didn't...

Went and got insurance for £51 a year elsewhere, and will never go back to Principal Insurance Laughing

The new provider has both my bikes insured, and now my car. Managed to get a decent policy deal with them so both bikes are covered FC for under £100 and my car is £200... This new insurer definitely feels better than others Laughing

In complete contrast, literally just now my bike cover (bike and scoot) renewal arrived. I was honestly expecting a hefty
jump and a big faff changing elsewhere since that happened this year with both my car and van insurance but they came
in cheaper than last years price by 6%. From £259 to £242 with all the little surcharges and whatnot so I'll be renewing that,
although I'm selling the scoot as spares or repair soon so it should come down a little more after removing that from the policy.
I'll have to do a change quite early on in the policy as the incoming MT10 has been delayed. Gaaaaaaah!

Queen Lilly on TikTok passed away today. Much sadness, 24 year old cat. She was top viewing, I hope my little cat Meg lives that long.

My one experience of boating was when me and a couple of mates rented a narrow boat in our late teens and travelled down the Cherwell into the Thames*. I recall the boat had a hatch giving access to the prop so you could clear weeds and fishing line away before setting off again in the morning. Is that not a common feature?

*We crashed the boat and damaged the butty boat of some canal-gypos but that’s another story.

Also crappy indicators usually only visable from useless angles.

You’d think there must be regulations which override the ‘designer’s’ influence.
