I've got to say that I'm really enjoying the Street Triple. First Triumph. Can corner with a lot of confidence. Light for manoeuvring, for my small self. Goes like nobodies business it does.
Of course I had to get myself one of these from a, no doubt, Chinese source. Will likely fall to bits in a crash! Actually the jacket is well made and looks very secure, including the stitching and the protection. £130 quid went for it.
Struggling to raise one these days, becoming a nightmare. The more I think about it the more it doesn't work. Fuck sake, tried Viagra and that doesn't work. Don't actually care about sex, prefer a wee ride on my bike.

You handsome bastard. Glad you're enjoying the Street Triple. I like the jacket, but one of my mates bought an official one from the factory shop for £200 (with minor haggling) a couple of months ago.
I bought my proper Triumph jacket second hand off ebay (years before I even had a Triumph) for £30, and it's been fantastic, but it was badly listed with no size mentioned, and I just took a punt on it because it was so cheap. ____________________ Current - '94 VFR750FR, '00 VFR800FI Previous - '10 Street Triple R, '92 MZ ETZ301, '05 TTR250, NSR125R, KMX125, "Honda" Win (chinese copy of an old Honda design with a C90 engine)

New helmet for me or new earrings for her? Chose the earrings ffs. Shoot me now.
Not been out on the bike for a while. She (Dionne) wants to come out on the back with me. I've never carried a pillion since doing 130 with my young nephew on the back when I first passed my test, had a moment of madness. My sister went mental. Dionne is not exactly small. She's a tall and curved lady, would need to adjust the pre-load quite a bit to compensate if you know what I mean. My confidence is usually shoot to pieces on a bike sometimes so won't take anyone on the back. It's weird forgetting how to take a corner sometimes, not good.
Hope you all manage out on your bikes this weekend. I will be |

Done in by a 'tall curved lady' for not being able to get a stiffy by the sounds of it...

My mates won't go out with me looking like this on the red white and blue 400.....bah, they don't know cool if it hit them in the face...
Not really, I look like mutton dressed as lamb or a dick depending on how you look at it. At least no one knows it's me when I'm scooting about with my helmet on and to be frank I don't care, I'm at the latter stages of mid-life crisis, the point just before dementia.
I was tempted by a new flip up helmet and saw this HJC I90 modular/flip front. I liked the livery and it was relatively inexpensive so I thought I'd try it out as it was on sale.
I am very impressed with it. I was quite surprised when I first opened the package and it really looked quality. The paint is good quality, it's relatively light, Solid and good design. I'll check the wind noise tomorrow, but no doubt it''ll be loud like every other damned helmet in the world.
I have another HJC that was way more expensive and you'd be hard pushed to tell which one was the value helmet. Really not often I praise things but I'm very happy with it. I am a medium usually so I ordered a medium. It is quite snug. If you swithering between medium and large get the large. It even comes with a pinlock insert and two naked ladies. HJC have sent me a check for saying this.

A five hour run around the Scottish borders on the 400 and my neck and shoulders are about to fall off, infact I'm fucked. Think I'll be taking the Striple next time I'm out for a longer ride.
Some riders are definitely pushing it too hard on public roads. I'm not that slow and they're passing me like I wasn't there. I'm too paranoid and careful for that these days.
Took a CL500 out for a test ride as they didn't have a Rebel demo. It has the same engine as the Rebel. Not a chance I'll be buying one. It's a pretty good engine that is surprisingly nippy, Just not enough power and I would get bored of 47hp pretty quickly. If I lived in an Urban area then it would have been ok.

Fair enough, they call it the Rebel but it's an absolute hooligan in town; do you need any more than 60mph though Wandsworth?
The alternative to moar powa, baby! is to add lightness which is why I'm giving the svelte Vitpilen a fair shake. The 373cc engine in the Svart/Vitpilen/Duke isn't renowned for being great a low revs but that's nothing a retune and/or trying different sprockets wouldn't sort out.
Hopefully I can take the wee beastie out to the Surrey Hills tomorrow and really see what it's about ____________________ Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, Yamaha XSR700, Honda Rebel, Yamaha DT175, Suzuki SV650 (loan) Fazer 600, Keeway Superlight 125, 50cc turd scooter |

Managed a whole weekend of biking . I'm biked out. Still find myself on the internet looking at bike specs. Is that sad?
My now-called girlfriend as it's been two years has been left by the wayside.
I'm really not feeling it. I would rather be with my dogs in bed. Sex has gone so it's only conversation and cuddles.
I'm a bad person but don't know how to end it with her. She is a lovely person, well crazy but lovely. More crazy than lovely |
