anyone know what a standard de-restricted zzr 400 BHP is? any ideas? or even a guess?

i think it is the same engine, it take the same plugs as the zxr4

Is the ZZR400 not a ZZR600 engine sleeved down in a virtually identical bike, hence the heaviness?

It is indeed, the 400 is quite a bit heavyer than the 600 for that very reason.. but its 99% the same bike so spares are easy to find

I'd have thought about 50, maybe a bit more... for a first bike it would be enough power, might be a bit weak for those used to screeching sports bikes though...

A good bike though, i'b have got one myself if i could afford a decent example (watch the gearboxes)

A mate has one in his shed if you need any bits for one Very Happy

What it is, is a ZXR 400 engine in a ZZR 600 frame, its more of a tourer than sports bike though.
