Got this today, I only mention it as it slipped past Gmail's spam filter:

It's genuine. 
"The cyberattack on white-shoe law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft has put the personal information of over 90,000 clients at risk.
On the notice to the affected clients on March 30, 2023, the prestigious law firm stated that an unauthorized third party gained remote access to the company’s systems on November 15, 2022.
Reportedly, the hackers were able to acquire sensitive information from the network, which included documents containing personal information belonging to the company’s customers, including names and Social Security numbers.
The Office of the Maine Attorney General said that the current breach was discovered on November 16, 2022, and that 93,211 people were affected."

WHAT HAPPENED?
Between 15-16 November 2022, an unauthorized third party gained remote access to our systems and acquired certain information from our network, including documents containing some of your personal information. As a large international law firm, we occasionally receive information from our clientsand other third-parties, including personal information, which we process in our normal courseof business in connection with the services we provide..
Our investigation has determined that the unauthorized third party acquired some of your personal information, including your name, name and political affiliation.
Targeted online monitoring has not revealed any indication that your personal information has been leaked or otherwise misused by the unauthorized third party. If this were to occur, this would expose you to a greater risk of identity theft or fraud, financial loss, and non-material loss.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
Upon learning of this incident, we quickly took steps to stop the unauthorized access and began a thorough forensic investigation with the assistance of outside cybersecurity experts. We have also reported this incident to law enforcement and relevant regulators, as well as taking steps to further strengthen our network.
Although at this time we have no indication of any misuse of your information and our investigation has not identified any suggestion that the unauthorized third-party was targeting your personal information, we have engaged Kroll Information Assurance, LLC to provide two years of identity monitoring services at no cost to you. Kroll is a global leader in risk mitigation and response, and their team has extensive experience helping people who have sustained an unintentional exposure of confidential data. Your identity monitoring services include Web Watcher, Fraud Consultation, and Identity Theft Restoration.
