Welcome back.
Good luck.
And leave it this long next time and the mods will want a word with you.
(The Ban Hammer is always available.)
I just spent 6 big ones on a new lid to replace the auld one.
Donated another old one to a local fire station for their Biker Down training.
They were pleased to receive it.
Bike gear was simple a few years ago when Heineken Gerika was a thing. Their gear wasn't cheap but normally the quality was reasonable.
I looked at RST stuff and it doesn't come close to the quality that HG was.
The Scandinavian stuff Rukka is expensive AF quality is there though.
Dianese, (I'm going to smash my fking phone) The Italian stuff. Latest fashions and styles but again, £££ ____________________ Disclaimer: The comments above may be predicted text and not necessarily the opinion of MCN. |

i bought a Shoei GT Air 2 in plain plod white a few months ago. Quick release, no stupid flip front shit, but it does have a drop down sun visor (which I never used on previous lids and won't on this, and which i would way prefer not to have as it's more f***ing bullsh*t to go wrong, like the one on me acerbis which falls down all the time).
400 large.
I've got by on £50 Box BX-1s for donkeys - the medium in those fit me so brilliantly. The construction of them is adequate, ditto materials. I would've paid thrice the price tbh - just cos of the amazing fit, the 4 star SHARP test (not the best test, maybe, but better than nowt), and the utter simplicity of design. Also, I love quick release.
Really didn't wanoo stump up for the bloody Showy - but it was best fit of many I tried, and ticked other boxes. Iirc i was large in Shoei (maybe even XL!! - and medium in Box!!).
Thing is, 5 months later, it's worn in and borderline pissing me off with its amount of worn inness. Can get different sized cheek inserts - three thicknesses - so I might go up to the thickest. £59 tho. ____________________ "Life is a sexually transmitted disease and the mortality rate is one hundred percent."
