hello,

While idling, the motorcycle ROCKET 3 2022, RPM does not stay at 1000, it goes up and down by 100rpm so from 900 rpm to 1100 rpm all the time.

It doesnt feel right because the handlebar vibrates a bit during this RPM jumping and it was not happening when the bike was new, bike is still fairly new at 10,000miles or 16000km on odometer.

Should I clean the throttle bodies?

OR

Is here someone who can guide me up on how to do edit map table so I can add little bit of fuel while the bike is idling. I know how to flash the ECU and I have all the tools required to edit map and flash it, please check information from the factory manual

thanks so muchhttps://i.postimg.cc/pT2CpYW7/image.png

That is most definatly not fluctuating by +/-100rpm, its 5 to 10rpm at best

This is what +/- 100rpm would look like

And since you havent told us the bike, i'm going to guess at a Triumph Rocket 3, and if you know anything about triple engines, you will know full well they are not the smoothest at idle, so that looks more than acceptable to me

By contrast, my 675 Street Triple has a rather pronounced bounce at idle, and i would be well happy if mine were anything like a smooth as yours

wow you sure are a genius, figured the bike with no information.

May I please know that how to increase the idle RPM to 1050 rather than 1000 rpm because the handlebar vibartes a bit on 1000 rpm +/- 10rpm or Its just a dumb question I am asking, please let me know.
Also for learning purpose, I would like to know how do they set idle rpm on these newer bikes, as there is no carb screw which I am used to set idle rpm lol

Really easy fix for this…. Replace the digital taco with an analog one. You won’t see the needle bouncing around all of the 20rpms that you see with the digi one Wink
