Today, I bought a new final drive chain for my XBR. The old chain is who knows how old and has a few dead pivot links in it.

Be interested to hear how you get on with it, maybe something for the Workshop section or "today wot I done did with my bike" Smile

i got this one from Ebay. takes about 5 minutes to renew break/clutch fluid and does a perfect job. probably the best bang for buck tool i own.

Sold the X Spirit 3 and bought myself a Neotec 2 with the built in comms. The whistling in the wind from the external SENA unit on the X Spirit 3 was driving me mad. I'm sure as a race lid behind a fairing the X Spirit is a great lid - i've just never quite got on with it.

Found the lid in plain white brand new for £360 and picked up the internal comms for a shade under £150 2nd hand. I might get some decals to break up the Stormtrooper look or i probably won't care that much.

The Neotec 2 fits like a glove and it doesn't fcuk up my titanium frame glasses when taking it off or putting it on.

A kitchen. Need to source built in appliances, this is going to be fun to rip the old one out and fit the new one, need to do the whole room, plastering is the only thing I can't do so should be able to keep the cost down.

Not the last thing but one of the last.

My Mrs, asked me to get her in-ear phones.

I love her Wub, so got her the best Bose QC. £260.

I tried them, I've used Bose QC headphones for about 15yrs.
I was never convinced that in-ear noise cancelling was any good. I'd had corded noise insulating in-ear phones. Shure OEM.

So I like the Bose in-ear. Exceptionally good. Bought them for myself on the way through Dubia. £260.

Mostly use them when on a plane. Together with the wee BT adapter that you poke into the airplane audio socket.

Like a dick, I left the new earphones on a KLM flight in June.

Undeterred, I bought a new pair when I got into the duty free shops in Amsterdam Schiphol.

Protecting the latest iteration of in-ear phones with my life.

Then I left the feckin' BT adapter doofer in Glasgow Airport on my last flight out three weeks ago.

If only these wee things had a chain on them. Rolling Eyes

How about having some sort of cord attached between the ear buds and the plug?

You are BBC News Anchor and I'll have nothing whatever to do with you.

(I'll claim the £5 fee, though.)

last year i bought some Letshuoer S12 in-ear earphones so that i could lay on the sofa whilst listening to music or watching media, i found headphones too bulky for this.

i was genuinely shocked at how good the sound they produce is.
its amazing how something so tiny can be such high quality.

I'm having earphone ignoramus issues. Laughing

I bought some bluetooth ones (cheapo ones, not £260!) about six months ago ...just to try and get the hang of them, promptly lost one but managed to retain at least one so I could listen to audiobooks whilst travelling.

But my sister in law is not very high tec and throughout the whole of our trip this week she has been talking.

Because she can't see wires hanging down off my head, she is totally unaware that I'm listening to something else. I have to keep turning them off and on and interrupting my audiobook. She even jabbed me on the arm in the plane home because I hadn't responded to her.

Is this really rude of me? Or her?
She's been talking at me for five days straight, I couldn't take any more and need to escape into my own little world. Laughing

Then I hadn't even got in my front door back from my holiday when my neighbours across the road started waving and shouting at me. I could hear them calling my name and I wasn't invested in talking to them whilst dragging a wheelie case. I'm sure they wanted to know where I had been, and not only was I up to a good bit in my audiobook but I was breaking my neck for a piss, so I didn't stop.

I think I'm getting selfish in my old age.
Why should I interrupt my personal preoccupations just because someone else wants something of me.

Custom Vans (extra wide for my size 13 plates of meat)

Only £100 to have them how I wanted them. I've spent more on a pair of Adidas sambas Laughing

My niece a little bit of happiness. Very Happy She's in the US of A on a school trip and I was chatting to my mum earlier who
told me she's burning through her spending money so I just zapped her £100 to top her up a bit. Apple of my eye
that one. I'll be seeing her in a few weeks, I'll also be expecting a cuddle. Wub Being the best uncle in the world is
a dirty job but someone's got to do it.
