hi guys im new to the forum...

so the story goes bought 2nd hand cb125R steering locked worked but under front braking the front end would wobble like shudder and and forward like it was missing something.
the forks got lifted slightly but the steering lock didn't work anymore and I was told its ok it wouldn't worry about the steering lock.

has anyone else suffered this problem or have an idea of what I might be

Without having physical access to the bike nobody will be able to tell you what is wrong.

I'm going with head bearing so comprehensively trashed that the pin doesn't line up with the lock any more.

do the test they show to see if your head bearings are gone. I suspect they really, really are
