I have one, and it’s brilliant fun. Stupid sized fuel tank, but other than that I love it. I keep idly thinking about getting another bike but when I look at what’s out there I come back to the FTR, might as well just get another one … |

The Henderson-esque bitsa will be 15 grand to buy then instantly depreciate to 10 grand once it's used.
I could buy three Brit classics for that money and still have a better
part acquiring experience due to the cult following of most of them.
I just found genuine Henderson for a grand less I'd rather have

The Janus bikes are an interesting concept, but as Polarbear stated, they are a pretty expensive style statement. I believe they are made in Indiana, and the motor/transmission units are indeed Cast Here In North America (China for short). They have been in business for a few years now, and were a big sponsor (pre Covid) of MotoGP broadcasts on television in the USA. I have yet to see one on the road. You'd think that there is enough disposable income in the Silicon Valley that there would be a number of these bikes out cruising about; not on the roads I frequent. Probably turning heads down at Starbucks. ____________________ History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of men - BOC |
