I agree, it looks lovely but if I'm spending 15 grand plus on a motorcycle it's got to have a bit more to it than just nice looks.

Edited to add - Where’s it all made? Most of the time that means we make everything we can as close to home as we can. In other cases, that means bringing in the best components for the job.

The retro look is interesting
but it's a bitsa and way too expensive IMO

The engine is based on the Honda XR and made in China for an Italian company who supply it to a US company...........

It's probably a better bike than the tarted up chinese 125s
by Mutt etc but still a niche machine.
I cant help wonder what it will be like after the warranty expires and you've put a lot of miles on it and have to start searching for parts.

The styling is nice; it's a shame the engine is, at best, an afterthought.

Anyone paying that sort of money for something with a nasty old Chinese clone motor at its heart has more money than sense IMO.

The Janus bikes are an interesting concept, but as Polarbear stated, they are a pretty expensive style statement. I believe they are made in Indiana, and the motor/transmission units are indeed Cast Here In North America (China for short). They have been in business for a few years now, and were a big sponsor (pre Covid) of MotoGP broadcasts on television in the USA. I have yet to see one on the road. You'd think that there is enough disposable income in the Silicon Valley that there would be a number of these bikes out cruising about; not on the roads I frequent. Probably turning heads down at Starbucks.
