Good day fellas!
Hope all is well.
I bought a new bike.
Sold the CBF600 and now downsized quite a bit.
The gears on this bike are just the same as they were like on the CBF600 at 42k miles. This new bike has only 4k on the clock. Both bikes gears a quite stiff or hard to shift. Makes me want to believe that all hoda manual gears are like this.
Is there any way to make the gears shift more smoth and buttery?
I've done the oil change hoping this will help, but no...
Are bike gears just like car gears or is that expected?

I'd check chain tension and clutch adjustment

Bike gears are different to car gears (car gears are synchromesh).
Bike gear levers have to be selected then fully released before the next gear at one at a time.
Also as St*** wheel states.
