Looks like the current guidance is to not start anyone new on ADHD meds until the current supply problems are resolved, and lots of people are not getting their prescriptions refilled.

https://www.cas.mhra.gov.uk/ViewandAcknowledgment/ViewAlert.aspx?AlertID=103238

I have 15 days of supply left.

As you can imagine the stress is making me a bit fractious.

I did, however, manage to obtain a week and a half's supply with the remainder on order as the pharmacists system said it was available. Expect my usual sunny disposition to return forthwith.

When replying to Nobby, I type a response then read it over again and think "Would this be a bit mean or inappropriate? Could the tone of my reply be different? Is there a chance I could cause offence with this reply?". Then I run that mental process through a filter of "What would Nobby do?" and press submit.

I've had worse experiences. I think liquid nitrogen to the dick is up there, but VEET to the tesicles? I'd rather disembowl myself than suffer that again.

Penile warts right? Liquid nitrogen works well. I'm not so sure about the VEET. I just grow wild.

You're allowed to cut yourself some slack at a time like this.
Garry was a pal of yours so go easy on yourself as you come to terms with the shock and grief of it all.

Rips my knitting too.

One time I was driving back to office with a chinese takeaway on the front seat. Went to roundabout and a woman went anticlockwise around it towards me, had to slam on brakes to avoid a collision. Pot of curry sauce went flying out the bag and splattered everywhere.

I beeped my horn and done the "what the fuck you doing" shrug and shouted "what the fuck you doing", she beeped her horn back, flipped me off and drove away quite the thing.

I would make that a capital crime. I hope she lives the rest of her life having to shit hedgehogs.

Thats ok. She's just following the Brit format of either look sheepish and scoot away or stand your ground no matter how untenable. What grinds my gears is a behaviour contrary to the above where the culprit grins and waves cheerily as if you were long lost mates. This is something ive noticed seems to be the default response of our more recent fellows from Africa. It's clearly a cultural convention and I feel that when taking up residency in this country our traditions when dealing with inter vehicular trajectory disputes should be communicated as part of their introduction to life on this sceptred isle.

You may or may not be aware of the small barbecue in a Luton Airport multi story car park.
My beef is with the massive overreaction from the local popo regarding traffic management.
A stretch of road was closed which caused widespread absolute chaos in the area.
Now I totally understand approach road closures are necessary but the road in question is a bloody mile away and not connected to the airport at all.

Absolute bellends. Evil or Very Mad

Would it be totally wrong to imagine Nero fiddling while Luton burnt. Praying

Why, when you spend money on your credit/debit card it comes out of your account immediatly yet when you get a refund or payment in it takes '3 to 5 days' to go into your account (or longer Evil or Very Mad ).

I won the princely sum of £30 on the lottery and it's going to take that to put it in my account yet it took them a millisecond to take a tenner out of my account when I bought the ticket.

No, I'm not going to starve but for some people it could be a lot more critical than it is for me.

Wankers.

Grabbed some of those dinky toiletries for a 5-day work trip to Italy, including a deodorant which isn’t my normal brand. Now my armpits are on fire.

What is it with students and disposable vapes? I picked this up outside Cardiff University student's Union to a loud pop. Tubeless application that I tried to fix in various ways but in the end had to admit defeat and call wife to bring me a tube and cancel various appointments I had. Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
