Took my bike 10 miles up the road to watch my boy play rugby. Sun was out so... I came home 300 miles later!

Route: Caerphilly>Brecon>Builth>Rhayader>Llyn Clywedog>Minllyn>Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake). Then into the Marches A49 to Hereford, A40 to Ross, A449 home to Newport.

The 17.7L tank flashes empty with 6 litres left but with all that Yamaha has got right with this bike i'll give them that oversight.

Went Dagenham-->Ongar-->Finchingfield (what a pretty place that is, and a big biker cafe by a pretty little hill/park)--->Epping Forest--->Dagenham.

Yesterday, I went for a short Sunday ride. It was my first proper ride this year. A bit under 300km, exploring the Jesenik mountain range, CZE. The roads were clean and dry, which is quite unusual at this time of year. The weather was alright as well, a bit windy and chilly in the mountains.

i found it really nice to ride at legal speeds.
a lot easier to get on with than my bike.
the seat was a bit soft for my liking though.

did ride one once .. was an earlier example iirc. 1990 .. been raced so was on a Q plate .. radical ridin position and a hard suspension setting .. quick .. i knocked it into top with a reading of 160 ( no i do not believe the clocks accuracy for one minute) .. i was ridin a CBR1000F at the time .. very , very different .. lol.
