Total waste of time because the sunlight will eventually bleach the colouring from it and that's with all anodised parts.

You're best to get it powder coated as it will not fade and it's excellent in preventing rust too.

I used to work in a electroplaters and all tho anodising is good it depends what type of anodising u get i used to do sulphuric anodising.... and i can pretty much say forks would look crap cos of the material they are made of does nto take to the dye used in anodising Crying or Very sad

i have to disagree there,here are the forks on my old bike and i think they look good and the anodizing didnt fade at all.

Can you power coat the engine casing? Or will it not be very good with the heat etc?

I'm only really after black as the standard alloy look is getting tatty now.
