"The Renegade Classic is an all American vintage style cruiser"
from here: https://midwestmoto.co.uk/products/um-renegade-commando-classic-125
Is it actually made in America then? Or is it - taking a wild guess - some POS Chinese domestic market 125 that you're shilling up for whoever it is that's imported a few containers full of the shitters. Do tell. |

Our new friend appears to be Portumaguese - be kind to him we might want a nice holiday along the Douro one of these days.
Dear OP,
Mate, Chinese built bikes, especially 125s, come in for a lot of criticism here as many, but maybe not all, are a triumph of style over substance/quality. Inferior materials are used widely in China and this is not always noticeable until some months or if your lucky a couple of years of use. Then come the question of spare parts which due to the myriad of models all based on, but not quite the same as, proven Japanese designs causes yet more angst.
Perceived wisdom suggests that after two years or so most of these are junk and not worth maintaining. Better to get a used Japanese brand bike in the first place. In a sunnier clime the Chines stuff might fare better but even then maintenance and servicing must be scrupulously observed.
