At the weekend I was filtering through some traffic in Tewkesbury near where I live coming back from a boredom run to the post office to get money and stamps, when I heard a low rumbling coming from somewhere which was drowning my bike out.
It was a Duke 916 behind me, red, gold wheels etc etc. I let him pass me at the junction, and followed him.
Doing around 30-40mph through the town I thought to myself where is he going?
He looked back and nodded slightly, for the next few km he checked his mirrors all the time to see what I was doing.
I was bored so I had one hand on accelerator and one on my left leg, sat up right, I think he saw this and then proceeded to come towards the next set of lights riding no handed, I did the same.
From the lights we were stuck behind a tractor, he didn’t seem to want to pass it, so I over took him and the tractor giving the bike more than it was needed producing a small wheelie.
He over took and now he was following me, he looked itchy to get passed so I made it difficult, I over took several cars on the dual carriage way we were on not really at great speed, he was following my every move.

Eventually traffic cleared and I blasted it, but so did he, we got up to around 90+ then he passed me deafening me in the process he slowed down before the start of the bridge. He looked back and gave it a kick and had the front wheel in the air, the bridge is on a steady climb so this looked impressive, “Oh” I thought, don’t think I’ll be trying that. I kept up with him to the peak where he dropped it down, as we came over the brow of the bridge we saw around 5 police cars , 1 fire truck, 2 ambulances 8-10 officers on the roads ahead.
Nice little blast, could of ended in tears. Lol
