He talks about the ancient history of Israel and that Jews have lived in that geographical location for millenia.

Current popular commentary by currently popular bad actors, do not recognise that history.
There are too many people that are too lazy, dumb or deluded to accept the facts.

Recently, and specifically after 07 October 2023, Israel has been dated to when Britain set up the state of Israel.

I have studied Israel and the muddled-east geopolitics for years.

It's uncomfortable to have to listen to commentary that is not true.
It's worse that lies are not being challenged effectively.
When the information is readily to hand.

Jerusalem is the holy city for three major world religions... what could possibly go wrong?

What I'd like to know is why Rent-a-Mob has been deployed for this particular Current Thing™ Thinking

Is the end-goal to cripple and isolate Israel or instead drive Western governments to be more authoritarian with regards to legitimate protest? (i.e. organise an explicitly illegitimate protest just to yank the Tiger's tail.)

Isreal/Palestine is a bit wierd, it seems like its one of those topics everyone is supposed to be obliged to have an opinion on and I never really understood why. Couldnt really care much less what a bunch of sand people are squabbling over in some desert shithole.

One thing Ive been wondering though, is why does the Gaza strip exist and why does anyone care about it? Surely almost all their issues would be solved if they just gave the Gaza strip to Isreal, and in return Isreal give an equal amount of land to Palestine on their border so you have two clearly divided countries rather than a wierd little enclave of Hamas terrorists in the middle of Isreal?

Im sure its nowhere near as simple as that and Im showing my ignorance, but meh.

Because no one want's the palestinians and as far as the other Arab states are concerned Israel can have the problem and they will just use them as an excuse to have a go when it suits them.
