33bhp restriction

how does a higher cc bike get restricted to 33bhp? what does a restricter unit look like and what's it control (where does it go)?
assume it's like an ecu is it? or does it block the exhaust route?

i'm not doing it just too curious for my own good : 0[

I think they just put a washer in the exhaust.

The FI international kits for carbed bikes are washers taht restrickt the flow through the carbs. For FI bikes it is genrally a throttle stop. Alomst any bike can be restricted. some run better than others, my hornet was realy smooth when 33bhp.
