Currently offereing 6 issues for 15 quid - seems like a proper bargain for summer reading.

Unless I've missed something. Eh?

I guess the catch is remembering to cancel after 6 months so you don't get charged £27.50 for the next 6 months

Virtual debit cards. A brilliant idea. Just set them to close after the last payment is due. I use them for any trial. I just did 3 months disney+ at 1,99 a month for 3 months and had the card close down before they could take the normal fee at the end of it.

Yeah, it's dull as ditchwater. Try Classic Motorcycle Mechanics instead.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I have a Monzo account. I can create and destroy up to 100 debit cards a year so I create one for say a 3 month trial and have it close after 3 months so doesn't matter if I forget to cancel the trial. I use them for foriegn payments and internet because I can close tham on a whim if anything seems funny. They are linked to my normal Monzo bank account for funds. Brilliant things.

Alternatively, if you sign up to your local public library, and you don't mind reading your favourite bike mag on screen, get yourself signed up to Libby and read it for nowt.

https://libbyapp.com

Or pretty well any other magazines for that matter. It's a little-known no-brainer.

Someone's put in quite the effort with that website!

While I will happily read a book on screen I have never found that magazines transfer well to them. Maybe it's improved now so I will have a gander at that, thanks!

Same here TBH, but the Libby app is actually quite clever... it lets you read a magazine in one of two modes; either as a PDF mimicking what the print version provides; ie the same layout, which is quite awkward to read on screen; or as a 'flat text' version where all the text of each article is stripped out separately and presented pretty much as if you were reading it on a Kindle. I find using a combo of both works well
