Hi Folks,
After riding about 30-40mins on the road, my right-hand feels quite numb. The bike is a 2019 suzuki dl250. Is it just me or anyone else get this feeling? Only the right hand, left feels fine. Thumbs Up

You might be gripping throttle more than you need to, when cruising along in steady traffic I sometimes just hold it with palm of my hand I.e. Not gripping at all.

Some people find these useful fo allowing you to rest your hand rather than gripping the throttle.

Also maybe a thicker throttle grip could help.

First you need to sit on your hand for, like, 15, 20 minutes, until it goes numb. No feeling at all.

They call it 'the stranger'.

I use the crampbuster on one of my bikes. I prefer it at the end of the bar as opposed to near the switchgear though. And at just a few pounds even for the knockoff items on e-Bay.

Is it gripping the throttle too tightly? The alternative is too much vibration coming through the handlebars. If so look to the handlebar mounts on the top yoke and/or bar-end weights.

We went out yesterday all day and I was now resting my palm on some of the way. My hand did not feel as bad so that was good.
I must say that both grips have some noticeable vibration.
Larger grips would probably do better but I'd have to take the entire grips off. Don't really wanna work on the bike in these lovely days. That crambuster thing mentioned above, I'll check that out. Thumbs Up

I just buy the 1m of foam tube from amazon and make my own. Bonus is you can stuff an air line up the end and use it to inflate them over the bar grips.

Hi Pete,
Please tell me more. Is it the one they use to insulate 15mm pipes? How do you inflate them? Thumbs Up

If vibration is still an issue, fitting different (heavier or lighter, most people go for heavier) bar end weights can help change the resonant frequency of the bars. In the old days of OHV singles, it wasn't unusual for people to fill the handlebar with sand or lead shot to damp down the vibration.
