Damn... sweet deal but they're out of large* Sad

Looks almost identical to my Vcan helmet I have for winter but despite being worn out it's still a pretty snug fit. Not gonna get away with a medium.

<edit> Fuck it, my other helmet's a medium. I'll give it a go.

*Yes, yes. I have a fat head. Get it out of your system.

Ive had one for over a year now, paid around £160 at a trade show.

Visor is extremely tight to fully close, then extremely tight to open again. Theres a weatherstrip that goes around the top edge of your visible area that sits proud...visor side clips are on springs, so as you open/close visor, these springs allow the visor to move in and out a bit to cater for the thickness of the weatherstrip.

but the weatherstrip gets...dry...and then the visor effectively catches on this piece of grabby rubber....you need two hands to click it closed, and two to open.

almost, over 80mph on private roads it seems to want to bobble around a bit much.

has pockets for earphones...i cant remember the dimensions but my standard intercom ones fitted in fine.
which brings me to the last shitty bits..
theres no generic chin mount thats fits this properly. not even at chinmount website. you need a velcro thing.

also, the sunvisor latch is on the left hand side, exactly...like 100% exactly where you would fit your intercom button doodah.

TLDR; ive not closed the visor properly since owning it, and not used the sunvisor either.

edit: (expecting someone to poo poo what I wrote)...yes the visor springs have two positions...both mine, left and right, and on their most relaxed setting...visor still catches weatherstrip

Still no regrets here on hitting the buy button but a useful set of things to watch out for.

had no trouble when trying the visor indoors. hoping it will be ok out on the bike.
the helmet bag it came with seems quite decent too.

its definitely a big step up from my previous £30 Duchini lid.

went out for a ride for a couple of hours last night with the new lid.
its quite noisy above 60mph although better than my last helmet. and for some reason the noise is louder in the right ear than the left.

it was comfortable from the get go, although the strap sits a little nearer to the Adams apple than im used to.

the visor and vents are easy to operate whilst on the move, and the clarity from the visor is excellent before it gets covered in bugs.

ive never used a pinlock before and am quite impressed with it so far. no fogging what so ever.

the aerodynamics of the lid made looking over the shoulder above 70 mph a bit of a challenge though.

not gotten a chance to test the sun visor yet.

all in all im quite happy with it.

Mine's just turned up. It's a bit snug getting it on or off but a really nice fit once it's on. I'm guessing the "oval shape" suits my noggin Smile Makes my old Vcan look very bargain-bin. The pinlock kit is a proper LS2 one with tools and cleaning cloths, not just something thrown in as an afterthought.

I'm guessing no one liked the colour scheme as if you want any other colour you'll still be stumping up £180.

I picked up a similarly reduced LS2 one from MandP last year. Serving me well. Think it was even cheaper. 40ish.

Was so cheap I picked up another reduced one, a Shark city-cruiser 3/4. Lovely lightweight option but not using that so much since I bought a faster bike.
