Bit of a weird one this. Suzuki GSR750 2011 6k miles.

Took the bike out for a ride Sunday. Bike started at home no issues. Rode about 60 miles then stopped for a 15 minute break. Bike started again no issues. Rode another 15 or ao miles then stopped for a photo op around 3 mins. Bike wouldn't start. Ignition powers up lights go on etc but it sounded like it had no power. After a few mins it fired although sluggish.

Rode on for a bit to a more convenient location and turned it off. Started first time twice. No problems.

Decided to carry on for another 30 odd miles. Stopped for lunch and it wouldn't start. Ignition on lights come on cluster does its thing. But pressing the starter button I get the whirrr whirr whir no power to fire it. This time with each press it was like the power was less and less. Had to push it up a side street to get a hill to bump start it. Got it home (rides fine) and when home it started everytime. I left it until today (Wed) then went out to see if it started and it does everytime. Plugged the battery in and the charger shows 12.9-13.4v on a maintain charge. When running battery shows 14.4v and 0.89amps.

I don't know the age of the battery as it came with no paperwork and I can't see any number on the battery to age it.

Does this sound like a battery issue or is there something else I could consider?

Cheers in advance.

J

really doesn't sound like a battery problem. I'd start with clutch and side stand switches.
