I removed the igntion switch and took it apart, it was
dry and crusty looking so as they're cheap,will buy a new one.
Looking the wiring diagram, It's only important job is to switch main power.
The other cables just do things like turn on a parking light and front DRLs
Pah! we don need no stinkin parking lights

the rear seat is held in by two locks for which I have no key
so had a cunning plan.
I drilled into the levers and pushed a pin in the holes which allowed me to
release the catch and swing the levers forward to release the seat.

I just wanted the seat off to store it in dry place for now
not sure I'll bother about keys for it as there are plenty of other, more important things to do first.
I'll make a rake soon and see if I can jimmy the tank lock
Replacement Cap and keys are pretty cheap, if I have to use two keys so be it.
