Thieves snatched his phone in London - it was in China a month later

tl;dr only needs to add "...and reduced to spare parts"

Obviously the police are going to be useless but the rest of the blame is fired at the manufacturers. No examination of why there's such a rise in snatch thefts Thinking

TBF this is a perfectly valid time to do some victim blaming. Why on earth would anyone waft the equivalent of a small gold ingot around on a street corner and think nothing will happen? London is after all a city of diversity and well know for cultural enrichment events.

The police won't help as they're under resourced prioritising hurty words on Twix. The manufacturers can only do so much. On one side they need to reduce the device to a brick but on the other people are crying about "right to repair." Regardless, is anyone asking Rolex to make their stuff less stealable? Apple, Google, Samsung, etc. apparently have magical powers Sad

How about don't import a load of criminals into your city? Rolling Eyes

At this point it's not even worth asking if this is a Cultural Enrichment Event. Society has been so corroded even the natives are starting to use the same tactics as their overlords Sad

The police have arrested a 35 year old man over the acid attack. That somewhat suprised me as I was expecting a jilted boyfriend or something similar so a kid or a very young adult.

Maybe more to this story than at first seems.

and all this with a description of "slim black man, wearing black, and a hoodie, and a black face mask, on a scooter" = to those of you who dont frequent london, this is almost a typical phone snatcher/baddie's uniform...you know..the ones they swear blind they cannot catch.

it seems, even with that description, we ARE indeed capable of catching baddies, we just choose not to.

Probably becuse a typical phone snatch suspect won't warrent the use of the resources required to catch someone who has commited grievous bodily harm to a child

Another of Nobby's wonderful bottom wipers the country needs so much...

Man raped and killed unconscious woman on park bench

Mohamed Iidow, 35, repeatedly sexually assaulted 37-year-old Natalie Shotter in Southall Park in west London in 2021. The Old Bailey heard Ms Shotter died of a heart attack caused by Iidow raping her "again and again".

Police officer who shot Chris Kaba not guilty

Shocker, I was 100% expecting guilty following trial by social media.

Body cam has been released, shows Kaba repeatedly ramming police cars and then drives straight at a armed cop. He fucked about, and found out.

Though Im sure the BLM crowd wont let pesky facts get in the way of a good "unarmed innocent black man shot dead by racist cops".He a good boy who dindu nuffin loved his grean and helped at church every day.

You have heard of double jeopardy?

He can't be prosecuted for the same offence twice if he's already been found innocent. This includes private prosecutions.

The intent would not be to present a valid legal case but to have loads of pictures of aggrieved relatives trotting out "...the law needs to change!" Anything to bury "the guy was a bad dude".

The courts would just reject it outright. No ifs. No buts. They would literally hold a hearing to say that they wont even listen to your arguments.

No solicitor or barrister would represent them because of the damage to their reputations caused by taking such a frivolous case.

You really dont live in the real word so you.

I don't know about any forthcoming private prosecutions but according to this article, a bounty has been put on the head of the cop who took him out:-

Trigger* warning: Daily Mail article....

''It emerged in a pre-trial hearing that 'those linked to the 67 Gang were seeking to kill a police officer in retribution for Mr Kaba's death'.

Mr Gibbs cited an intelligence report revealing: 'The sum of money on offer was £10,000….in exchange for personal details of Martyn Blake including addresses and vehicle registration marks.

'The threat of harm was directed at both Mr Blake and his family'.

The threat of a revenge attack remains so high that Blake has had his leave his home, career and normal life behind as he faces a lifetime under threat with close protection officers guarding his every move.''

*Pun intended.

Obviously good, hes a horrible little fuck who's a gang member. Thing is, the jury weren't told his previous which I can understand, you consider on what happened, but the police must have known he was a gun carrying gang cunt so anything they did was influenced by his history. If thats the case, then his history should surely have been shown to the jury.

AFAIK at the time of the incident the police didn't know specifically who was driving the car only that it flagged up on the ANPR database for gang activity. Could be someone naughty, could be a girlfriend (i.e. somewhat innocent driver). Actions speak louder than words though and the shot was due to the aggressive attempts to escape questioning.

Now we have amazing pieces of journalism such as this:

Chris Kaba shot man in nightclub days before his death

Where 50% of the article outlines the many ways this was a "bad dude" and the other half continues the story of how "the community" is devastated by the verdict.

Are we to believe "the community" think they're outside the jurisdiction of UK law enforcement? Under what circumstances would the police would be expected to appear? Certainly not for trivial things like dangerous driving, gangland murder and drug dealing it seems Thinking

Police knew the vehicle was linked to a shooting the day before but didn't know who was behind the wheel when they stopped the vehicle.

What the police did know was that the driver was was using the car as a battering ram going back and forth against the vehicles surrounding it.

Jeremy Corbyn posted on X in September 2022 saying "We cannot live the pain felt by his family, but we can support them in demanding #JusticeForChrisKaba."

Diane Abbott said "As the terrible fate of Chris Kaba shows, people can lose their lives even when going about their daily lives. Defending all our fundamental human rights is crucial under this dangerous, repressive government. "

So the full quote:

Diane Abbott wrote:

The mainstream media have an unfortunate habit of erasing inconvenient truths when they have decided what 'the story' is, and it is amazing how often it happens to black people.

And later:

Quote:
A lack of police accountability is the tradition, not a new beginning.

It only makes sense if you isolate the facts to only "a man was shot by police". Why was he shot? Irrelevant. Asking that question implies you're a racist.

I cannot work out if it's a grift or Abbott genuinely believes what she's saying Thinking
