Finally put the head and new valves back on my Honda cm125 1983

Got another question do new valves need the tappets adjusted I started the bike it try’s to bog when I give it a rev and there’s a lot of tapping noise I am just waiting for it to cool down before I make any adjustments

I done a compression test on both cylinders and it’s 150psi both sides

The engine is similar to the cb125 but with a single carb and a 360 crank

Also carburettor is clean and fuel is fresh and has spark

Thank you all in advanced

Yes, you'll need to adjust the valve clearances.

Need a crank for my mt50 Wink I can work on two strokes quite easily
