For the past week, the new game I'm writing in 6502, has been going absolutely mental ... things being displayed which shouldn't, things not being displayed which should, things not behaving in the manner they were supposed to.

1) Memory was being overwritten by one routine because I forgot to increase the space for another, so table for things moving about was being corrupted.
2) Missing graphical data was due to memory being cleared on a display change, which just happened to contain the data!
3) Display change issue also meant I effectively lost 2k of coding space as it was being cleared each time.

Finally figured out all the issues and how to get the 2k of coding space back ... gears well oiled Very Happy

All the best ... Barry

Bought a new gas oven a few months ago. The glass lid for the hob with the cut-out switch wouldn't stay up, something had gone awry with the hinge springs.

Logged it as a warranty repair and I'd have to say I'm quite impressed with the service. Beko oven, repairs done by Domex.

I don't understand the whole dick-pic thing. Is it used in an attempt to attract a mate? If a lady showed me a pic of her pastie, I'd be worried...

I think it is the fact that I know the 'owner' of said clout that would unnerve rather than the image per se.

Well it was certainly the last thing I expected ...

But as it was only about 8.30 am and he had a can of Special Brew (or was it Red Stripe? Thinking ) in his hand and reckoned he'd already done a quarter of vodka and was bunking work and on his way back to his mum's ... I guess I shouldnt be so surprised Rolling Eyes This was one of those "Oops I swiped too far in my photo library" kind of thing, yeah right mate.

I think that "those who do", actually imagine that it is going to make them more attractive.

Now, I'm of the inclination that if I'm interested enough to ask for a dick pic, then I'm likely to have been checking a guy out for some time by then and I'm obviously in it for the long game.

But this guy is (pardon my ego) so far out of his depth with someone like me that its laughable.

So although he caught me out and I was actually quite shocked (I really did actually do that Soprano's "Ohhh!" thing Laughing ) but as you guys know me so well, I have to admit that it was rather an attractive one. Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

Just a shame its attached to a complete dick-head, LOL

See, I'm 100% with Diggs here. Am I to believe though that in the history of the world, any woman has ever actually asked for a dick pic, rather than been sent one unsolicited?

But, much like most women, I have had many many unsolicited ones from people I have never met (and no intention of).

Does the WhatsApp conversation "bobs?" then "dic pic?" represent flirting in these modern times?

Dish washer started tripping the earth switch next to 'fuseboard'. (And I think this has been the cause for the earth trip for a few years now that has been occuring anywhere between twice a week to no problems for months). But now it was hapening every single time the device is plugged in, and tested with different socket spur (right terminology?).

Removing the earth from the plug made the machine work but confirmed an 80v going through the chassis of the 20 year old machine which was traced down to the motor area. Disconnecting motor start capacitor but connecting earth loom properly again and the thing didn't trip the meter.

I was waiting for a capacitence tester (I needed one anyway to replace from capacitors on some computer PCBs) but with the multimeter alone (mine is too old to have capacitence testing facility) I found that althought the capacitor did discharge voltage, it was giving a persistent 1.1a throughput with a 12v bike battery connected.

The tester arrived and I got 2.6uF instead of the rated 4uF from the capacitor and went to RS components but they said it would be a few days to order in and that's when I remembered being a pikey is good in situations like this -- I have an old fridge freezer that's been in my garden since 2019 and I looked for the capacitor when I got home. It too is 4uF, and testing it, it proved only just outside the 5% stated tolerances (3.72uF) but good enough! Adapted the wiring, hooked everything up and we now have an operational dish-washer again. Cool

Friend of mine, has said I can have a motorcycle that has been under a cover in his garden for a few years, he's moving into a flat , it's a 125cc that his son crashed first time out and doesnt want back. Neighbours kid had their 125cc stolen in the summer, so hoping to get it for them.

Quite a lot of fingers crossed involved, but it's free, worth a try.
