My Hanwags turned up, dirt cheap as they only had size 7 left. Some advantages to being a tiny Cornish Pisky after all Smile

"Belorado II Tubetec GTX" - sort of bastard lovechild of trainers and hiking boots. A bit of a departure from my Vans but I've been disappointed with the quality of the latter as of late. I must have bought the last pair 'cos the listing's disappeared now!

I don't know why but the Z650RS/Z900RS always seems a little bloated looking to me, like it's slightly overdone the stuffing at Christmas. They are a more classic look compared to the XSR700/900 which I think are better described as "neo-retro".

As for the Z650 (sans RS) street bikes are all much of a muchness and it comes down to what sort of headlight you like Smile (Looking at you, 2025 MT-07!)

Another low profile type Seenda wireless keyboard/mouse for £20 delivered, current one has lasted a good few years but started entering two different characters for one keypress a few days back.

Also bought a backup wireless keyboard/mouse which looks very similar but only £9.59 delivered Shocked

Needed a charger with a little more zing for the drone batteries, they were taking an age to fill up even using a 'super fast' phone charger.
A NOVOO 120w should reduce the waiting time.

I bought a new power supply for my ageing PC with a 600W PSU. I recently replaced a 65W i5 6600 with a 91W (?) i7 7700K, everything still alright. Then I replaced a 180W GTX 1070Ti with a 285+W RTX 4070 Ti Super, and ever since I got random system reboots, and it's been getting more frequent. The manufacturer of the GFX card do suggest a 700W PSU, and I have noticed recently, that the random reboots happen only in games, that can fully utilize both the CPU and GPU at the same time. Long story short, I got a new PSU.

*I did the system memory check and everything was fine, with no issues. So it's not the RAM modules.

I'm a long time FSP power supplies user, so I got another unit from them, the Hydro G PRO ATX3.0. This new model also has the brand new PCIe 5.0 power cable, that Nvidia cards use since the RTX 40 series. I was going to get the 850W version of this PSU, but as it was out of stock everywhere I went for the 1kW unit that was only £10 extra and available. I'm also curious about the for me ''ECO'' mode, that's supposed to keep the fan off when the load is under 30 %.

Going to do some testing on the weekend.

2) 8xAAA rechargable batteries.

3) Schurter C13/C14 panel mount outlet and flange mount inlet (for custom case).

4) Another of the £9.59 keyboard/mouse I got earlier ... I now have two spares Shocked

5) Death supper (aka fish supper) last night to celebrate being brought back to life 3 years ago, after going for the same thing (didn't even get to eat that one) Laughing

A timed misting system.

Combine this with the high intensity UV light, daylight grow bulb, suspended light fittings, two IR heat lamps, plant trays and substrate and I'm wondering if I'm going to get an early morning knock at the door.

Turns out cannabis and chameleons have very similar environmental requirements.

Perhaps you could grow some in the chameleons vivarium. You'd have a very happy lizard.

Its a bit more hassle when it dies though.

Stinkers has chosen one of probably the hardest reptile to keep because they have a tendancy to die if there is an r in the month.

Admittedly a Komodo Dragon would be a bit of a cunt but that would be because of how many people it ate.

On the one hand I find reptiles desperately unexciting. Daughter's other half has one and the thing spends 99% either asleep or lurking out of sight. TBF hamsters and gerbils aren't much better. At least rats, ferrets and degus have a sense of joie de vivre about them.

That being said keeping the fuckers alive does demonstrate a respectable level of conscientiousness.

I wish I could like rats, as their levels of intelligence (and cunning) do actually fascinate me.

The only thing that I can't cope with about rats is their tails. Dunno why. Something irrational. no doubt the same as I can't cope with spiders because "why so many eyes" Shocked - its downright sinister.

If people who have pet dogs dock their tails, why can't people who have pet rats dock their tails the same way?*
I would like them so much more then.
Thinking Thinking Probably. Puke
