				| I don't think the Ford Fiesta looks anything like the original either. But that's different - time and gradual mutation and tweaks of design over each release has produced the variation we have in that model line name.
But agreed, calling a generic car, which hasn't really evolved from a specific line of model (??) - hasn't been around for decades - a Capri is silly. It's the complete opposit of what a capri was.
Just selling the name. Just as disapointing as Hellraiser 11.

				| Dead ringer for the Capri ... it had wheels, body panels, paint, headlights etc as well
My dad had two of them, loved the look of them back then and now, that new piece of shit doesn't deserve the name!

No, but the Fiesta has kept going continuously from the '70s to Current Day. And its raison d'être has remained constant - rollerskate shitbox for the poors - and each new generation is no dramatic design shift from the previous.

 That's what I said?

				| I'd like one of coke bottle cortinas again we did have an estate version late 70s it was hideously unreliable but felt like a 'big' car at the time.
You seemed to waft about in it and quite practical had allsorts in the back and was good to sleep in for a weekend away.
If they could make cars almost replicating capri and cortina - even if they had to be electric
  they'd sell well.
