I've never been a political animal and mostly regarded myself as a centreist
and probably, somewhat naively, hoped we got things done by thrashing out ideas and doing what seemed to be the best (or least worst) option.
Nowadays I am genuinely concerned we are losing what we all once took for granted
as a right in this country. Free speech and freedom of expression.
I've been reading too many accounts of the erosion of these principles and joined the
Free speech union to support it if only in small way.
I got a shiny badge an everything and I'm probably now on a register of potential offenders

I enjoy the banter and piss taking here but do wonder if some comments could get us in trouble with the filth ( can we still say that?)

Sorry, I thought you were feigning a Political Correctness concern. I didn't realise that legally you can't call him black. What a mad world!

I have to ask what kind of centrist supports Eugenics? Thinking
Asking because I am centrist too and against nazi theories.

I have not find a single case on their site where these guys actually defended even one journalist free speech despite having a whole section about Laughing

Toby Young the founder is fired for posting lies and disinformation with conspiracy theories is not free speech. It actually threatens people's health and life.

The founder is a nutjob who supports nazis Eugenics

and say
Quote:

Covid death would be "acceptable collateral damage"
Young claimed that common cold coronaviruses gave people immunity against Covid
On 14 January 2021, the British press regulator IPSO ruled that an article Young had written for The Daily Telegraph in July 2020 was "significantly misleading" and that the newspaper had failed to take care not to publish inaccurate information

They’re in the business of defending ordinary people, workers and academics. Most of the MSM is in thrall to woke such that journalists express outrage that someone would defend the opinion, for example, that you cannot choose your gender.

Oh, and you’re a long way left of being a centrist by most people’s standards.

As to the “Nazi eugenics” accusation, get real and stop reading The Guardian.

They literally say their goals is to defend Freedom of Press:
https://freespeechunion.org/freedom-of-the-press/

I was not able to find anywhere something like "we will defend freedom of press unless is MSM woke one" Laughing

Also humor me find a single case that they have actually defended ANYONE?

Where in Guardian you have read that and what do you mean "accusation"? Its a proven fact:

Quote:
In 2015, Young wrote an article for the Australian magazine Quadrant entitled "The fall of meritocracy". Under a section titled "Progressive eugenics"[61] he discussed developments in genetically engineered intelligence, and proposed that should the technology for selecting embryos for high intelligence become practicable, it could be provided "free of charge to parents on low incomes with below-average IQs.”

Imagine the irony when Toby the defender of freedom asks you about your income and IQ in order to check if you are worthy of having children Laughing

But yeah he is not a nazi just passing by defender of the freedom of speech....

It wasn’t about checking for worthiness, as you know.

I had also never heard of Purple Aki.
Clearly a northern celebrity of some sort.

Just sounds like a bit of a dick to me. Rolling Eyes

I shall now return to the point of the OP.

Oh wait, I better go and read the link.
Rather than, y'know, make an instant judgement.

Agree and following the link I have found they have not defended any case with freedom of the press despite claiming one of their main goals is to defend the freedom of press Laughing

Than I dug a little I mean just running the founder name in Google just to know to whom I will be lending my money like you don't want to finance someone state home like Tommy Robinson's yeah? Mr. Green

Surprise, surprise Laughing the founder Toby Young is literally a nazi supporting the pure race:

Quote:

Under a section titled "Progressive eugenics"[61] he discussed developments in genetically engineered intelligence, and proposed that should the technology for selecting embryos for high intelligence become practicable, it could be provided "free of charge to parents on low incomes with below-average IQs.”

Nothing unless you want to achieve that like the nazis by purifying the race using eugenics.

You can have as much intelligent children you have but don't say its fine to measure the IQ of the lesser classes Laughing
