I know this headline is about phones but...

I'd guess this would mean that bikes with trackers could also come under this law? This would mean the police would be able to raid lockups and garages that contained bikes with trackers. It can only be a good thing for us.

Seems good. How long until they work out a way of using it to justify warrantless searches though? "Oh, we detected an air-tag" *kicks in door*.

That's the way we are going though, whatever people think. All justified by terrorism, hate crime, potential war with Russia, etc. etc.

Something I read that I don't know if it's true or tin foil hat stuff is that mobile phone companies stopped putting removable batteries into their phones so you couldn't actually turn them off completely. They are still tracking/giving signals even when turned off by the button whereas if you took the battery out it became a brick.

Big brother and all that. Rolling Eyes
