I always wear sunglasses (day) or Yellow (night) when riding & tend to keep the visor open but recently have been suffering nose bleeds, presumably from the cold air hitting my face & then walking into a warm environment.

I've tried a foggy but that gets soggy & removing it from my hat with the mic installed is a pain in the ass.

My Axxis Panther doesn't have much of a guard, so i'm wondering what other solutions there are.

Yes smart arse, keeping the visor down is one, but what about guards... or even a moderately priced helmet with a bit more of a guard. (I have a huge hooter which it makes it more susceptible to the cold)

Your help is appreciated.

Edit: Hawk Evo SV looks to have a bigger guard (marginally)

Already got one but when it's up round me mush it creates moisture & ends up damp.

Interior fogging is caused by the temperature difference between the interior and exterior of the visor so if you reduce this difference you reduce fogging. By removing the rain from your visor this rain is colder than air at ground level as it has fallen from high in the sky where it is much colder so the outside of the visor temperature is not so cold and therefore the temperate difference is reduced and additionally there is less wind chill = less interior fogging -

Genuine question, why not just shut the visor? You are trying to find a solution to a problem that's already been solved by what's on your helmet. With the visor up wind is going to make your face cold no matter what you do.

1. Medical.
2. Yellow tinted glasses don't help much though the visor. (have a look & see)
3. My hooter is huge & pinlock or not, it still gets misted up, especially on deep breaths.
4. Mucky fingerprints on the visor. (example: It doesn't fit in a locker at the pool (i swim everyday) & there's always some oik sticking their mitts on it) When i carry it around i'm always sticking my mitts on it too.
(I carry a cloth for a seat wipe, but haven't got enough pockets for a visor cloth)

Went looking for a new helmet today (CMC & My Moto at Clay Cross) & they both said I was looking for something virtually impossible to find but... I live in hope.

(I did find an MT hat that did the trick but they didn't do it in an XL. wtf?

Try an adventure style laid. Gap between jaw and front lets air circulate well. Nexx xwed 2 is very good for this. I close chin vent most of the time.

BTW I've removed all the chin/warmth bits coz I have a fat/round/whatever shaped head and a buff never works for me with a pinlock.

Also, if pool don't have big enough lockers ask for them to look after it..... I always used to do that for my regulars.
