Why do they bother with a driving ban as some sort of penalty? A guy like him will just ignore it. OK, he’s too dumb to avoid being detected but still, just lock him up for longer. Let it be a grim deterrent too. All this rehabilitation nonsense just excuses them. You had the same opportunities as everyone else but you chose this path. Here’s the inevitable consequence. I hope he has a lifelong limp an’ all.
