Fortnine again with what I thought would be the typical love letter to racing 2-strokes...

Turns out the 2-stroke expansion chamber exhaust is, at the very least, inspired by the V1 pulse jet. By Current Day™ standards that makes anyone riding a 2-stroke a Nazi, and MZ owners are literally Hitler Shocked

The whole 2-stroke story gets even wierder than he explained. Both with the secondment of Kadens RT125 piston and transfer port designs at the end of the war by both the British and Soviets and with how the expansion chamber calculations found their way into Japanese hands later on.
