Hi All

Using the Maypole 7 channel bypass relay.. picking up signals from the nearside lamp unit..

The relay has a common input for brake lights yet separate for the rear/tail lights (??) any reason why I shouldn't connect both near/off side inputs together (black/brown)and tap into nearside signal? Otherwise PITA extra wiring.

I'm wondering if back in the mists of time the original design was American. Some Yank vehicles double-duty the rear red lights as indicators Thinking

I think it's more so that if one fuses you don't have no rear light at all.
