Turns out one of my discs is warped, possibly from a forgotten disc lock situation.

Before i spend a ridiculous amount on genuine Triumph replacements...is there any others that are worth looking at? Either cheaper (but fit for purpose obvs) or better for the same money?

I have used EBC brake discs with success. The rear disc on my BMW R1150R wore better than the OE disc that it replaced.

https://www.allbikeengineering.co.uk/discs.php

I used them for a disc for my 250, seeing as originals are unobtanium. It looks just like the original.

Cheers for the input, guys. Annoying that there's no prices on the All Bike site, but i suppose i can call on Monday and see what they want for them. Looking around a bit more, i found these:

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/405260483277

Original brembo discs (i think) at half the price. From Italy, so a delay in getting here, but tempting. I'll decide when i find out more on Monday.

I put EBC discs on my CBR600RR and the brakes went from "decent" to "holy S**t!"

They could just be fakes, it the listing ticks most of the boxes.

I asked my Italian neighbour about them...he said whereabouts in Italy? I said Napoli...he said, Noooo!

Didn't get chance to call the AllBike people, so i've emailed them instead.

Is that Drago Moto on eBay? Been watching some Brembo calipers from them for months.

Dunno, was hoping your neighbour would tell us, they do have 26000+ feedback, if they are dodgy they must be doing a good job of hiding it.

Import fees and life have kinda put me off for now.

To be fair to Italy I ordered a couple of Brembo RCS19 master cylinders from there. Once just before the Brexit effects kicked in, and another more recently. I got them quickly and with no hassle, and most importantly they were £150 instead of £250 each. They are legit Brembo and come with little scratchcard certificates that you register with the Brembo website and all.

So you can get decent stuff shipped over, but you probably do have to be careful.

Hmm...tricky. AllBike got back to me with a quote for £338.40 delivered, and SP Engineering want £379 for the EBC's.

Drago Moto are £285 inc delivery for possibly genuine Brembos, so if they are genuine, that'd be my first choice.

I've contacted DM to ask if the discs come with the authenticity scratch cards. If they do, then i'll probably go for those.

Marjay, when you say from there, do you mean Italy in general, or Drago Moto specifically? And did you have to pay any import fees on top of the listed price?
