Is the carb itself broken/missing or just parts of it?

How about you give some more details because you can get all kinds of mikuni parts from various places. There are also well documented repairs for some common breakages on carb bodies.

What, exactly, is broken.

Fair enough, that looks like it's had a hard paper round.

For sure, some careful use of lumiweld, blocking it back to flat and re-drilling or even just epoxying the top on (how often do you need to take the top off a CV carb? Almost never in my experience) but it's approaching the "more trouble than it's worth" point.

Chinese knock-off? Maybe not exactly the same but possibly similar enough to throw your original jets and slides in? Would need some measuring and research.

If it was mine I'd try something like Quiksteel epoxy putty and file/abrade teh corners to get a good 'key' and slather it on. leave for a day at least then drill tap as required. Go easy torquing it up.

PS in USA teh XJ600 Diversion was known as Seca II - a cheap-ish commuter /tourer

is that the 125 gt vee twin 'Comet' with unobtainium inlet rubbers?
someone here had trouble sorting one of those out.
If the bike is in otherwise good nick it would be worth getting creative
but if it's a sad neglected shit box, just burn it.
