I'm a big fan of all things Mackerel - grilled for breakfast would be lovely - but my wife can't stand the smell Sad Hardly just cause for divorce but tempting Wink

One of the neighbours in my block isn't too fond of the smell either, but then again, I don't like looking at her big fat head everyday but I do my best to tolerate her without moaning Very Happy Wink Rolling Eyes

Same here.
If I'm feeling really brave, I stick a couple of kippers under the grill. That really pisses her off.

I only cook fish when wifey is away. She hates the smell that much that my life would be unbearable.

If she really, utterly pissed me off, I'd cook some mackerel then shoot off down the boat for a few days. Twisted Evil (and I was feeling very brave)

I made Billie some chicken gelato summer treats.
She loves them.

I had frozen a load of oregano & chicken fat/drippings which I had saved in case I needed it for another recipe - so I chucked in a dollop of cream cheese and whizzed it up with a couple of ice cubes.

Then I poured the whole sorry mess back into ice cube trays and saved the rest in a chinese takeaway container, which I took out and whipped up to break up the ice crystals.

Doggy chicken gelato! Cool

Beef&mutton stew with caraway & fennel seed gravy
On a bed of fried rice with ginger and spring onions
Topped with a spoonful of smetana
+ half a glass of orange juice from 2 oranges

Gave the dog the chicken out of the fried rice cos she turned her nose up at chicken gelato today Laughing
Dennis the tripod cat also had the stew, but only because she got on the counter and licked it out of the saucepan while I was out watering the garden Rolling Eyes

That's quite a bleak outlook on life but I understand what you're saying.
