This is the deal Starmer is about to sign with Macron regarding illegal boat crossings into the UK. It's the most ludicrous thing he's done so far and it makes no sense at all. It doesn't stop the boats coming or prevent illegal migrants drowning and it doesn't "smash the gangs" like he promised he was going to do when he scrapped the Tories Rwanda plan.

The idea is that for every new migrant we pick up in the channel and ferry into the UK to live in a nice luxury hotel-house-home indefinitely, we get to send the equivalent number of migrants already here in UK back to France within 4 weeks of receiving the new arrivals in exchange for the same number of supposedly "legitimate migrants" who have been processed in France and granted genuine asylum/refugee status over there already.
WTF?!?!?!
What nonsense is this?!?!?!

We are already paying France to stop the boats in their own waters so illegals don't make it into the channel but they don't do anything to stop them over there and, instead, just watch the illegals get into the boats and wave them goodbye with no resistance.

Starmer is a total clown and the world is now laughing at him (and us) as he has absolutely no clue how to control migration/illegal boats or do what's best for the UK and British Citizens. The sooner he is ousted in a vote of no confidence, the better for us all. He is not fit to be a PM or even a leader of the Labour party. His first year in power has been absolutely ridiculous and he just keeps getting worse and worse by the day. He needs to be stopped and removed from the political playground fast before he does any more damage and destroys what's left of Britain.

Rant over but my blood is still boiling !

FTFY Neutral

He is a man of no desires, no ambitions, no dreams... no morality. It is therefore of no surprise he doing exactly what is expected of him by the people he represents.

The idea that France is going to take back the scumbags and, in exchange, ‘let us have’, immigrants who were accepted by French authorities as rightful asylum seekers would be risible if it wasn’t so embarrassing.

The Chagos “deal” is another baffling decision where we actually pay Mauritius to take the island from us, but they let us rent the military base we allow the Yanks to occupy. Meanwhile the Chagossians we cruelly evicted get nothing, so what’s the point?

Starmer looks weaker by the day. He’s got to be the biggest mug in international politics. Him and Reeves will be lucky to make it to January and if that doesn’t finish this government we’ll have Rayner as PM, god help us!

!

Macron is playing with Starmer like a glove puppet. Looking at the facts, we are currently getting crossings of about 600-1000 most days and these are mostly males. The women and children are only just starting to join them so the numbers crossing will double/treble soon now that Starmer is about to roll out the red carpet for them and open the UK door even wider. The gangs will be laughing their heads off now and rubbing their hands together considering the amount of money they are about to make.

As for this stupid exchange idea, just how many genuine migrants does Macron have in France now that have been processed for this exchange deal? What happens if we allow 2000 new illegal arrivals in every day and we want to send 2000 of our own straight back but Macron has only got 500 "approved cases" ready to give us for every exchange? What then happens to the 1500 daily surplus that we're stuck with in the UK and who is paying for them???

This deal has no benefit for the UK and will only flood the country even faster than is happening already FFS. Starmer has lost his mind!

We need another GE now in my opinion. Britain won't survive 4 years with Starmer/Labour in charge. We will be over-run with invaders by then all living better/easier lives than most UK citizens do.

Starmer is losing control. He's had to do 3 U turns, winter fuel, Grooming gangs, and now the disability reform. Smashing the gangs is a joke and he's been pretty much sidelined by the international community although he really deserves that for putting Lammy as foreign minister.

I almost feel sorry for him ( no, I don't really Laughing ) in that anything her tries seems to turn to shit or his own back benchers fuck him over. My worry is that he will be replaced by someone much father to the left and we all know what happens then. Bankrupt Britain.

Edited to add, 4 U turns. He now regrets the 'Island of strangers' statement. One true thing he said and now retracts it. Rolling Eyes

Here's a little fun task you can use AI for: compare net migration by Prime Minister.

Code:
John Major (Conservative, November 28, 1990 – May 2, 1997)
409,000 (63,600 per year)

Tony Blair (Labour, May 2, 1997 – June 27, 2007)
2,295,000 (225,900 per year)

Gordon Brown (Labour, June 27, 2007 – May 11, 2010)
611,000 (212,900 per year)

David Cameron (Conservative, May 11, 2010 – July 13, 2016)
1,534,000 (248,600 per year)

Theresa May (Conservative, July 13, 2016 – July 24, 2019)
756,000 (249,500 per year)

Boris Johnson (Conservative, July 24, 2019 – September 6, 2022)
1,173,000 (375,900 per year)

Liz Truss (Conservative, September 6, 2022 – October 25, 2022)
127,000 (976,900 per year)

Rishi Sunak (Conservative, October 25, 2022 – July 5, 2024)
1,249,000 (739,053 per year)

Keir Starmer (Labour, July 5, 2024 – Present, as of July 3, 2025)
432,000 est. (436,300 per year)

Suggests perhaps a tick up when the EU opened doors to the Poles.

My mum's constantly slating the Labour government about immigration so I printed out the list. Probably a waste of time but at least I've tried Sad
