I'm sick to death of hearing lawyers spewing bollocks in courts:-

'Barrister Kevin Molloy, for Humar, said his client's behaviour could be a reaction to bullying suffered at school'.

'Barrister Marcus Rickard, for Hannan, said Hannan had also suffered "horrific" bullying at school and been diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder'.

Mr Rickard said Hannan was a "very conflicted young man" but added: "There is a good person in there."

FFS, we were all bullied (or were bullies) at school but just got over it. Such experiences shouldn't be used as excuses for every assualt, murder, child rape or similar misdemeanour.
It's about time that Judges told Barristers offering such bullshit excuses to fuckright off.

Blame the feminisation of society. Universal Suffrage was the 20th Century's biggest mistake.

All those cases are classic examples of a "shit test". The excuses will get more and more outlandish until either someone puts a stop to it or society crumbles entirely.

A Scottish woman ordered groceries to be delivered to her home in Glasgow.
The pregnant 32-year-old was met by Deliveroo driver Muhammad Faizan Khan.
He forced himself inside and raped her, which contributed to a miscarriage.

He was handed just a 12-month prison sentence.

An horrific event is alleged to have occurred in an Oxfordshire Churchyard last night.
Details are a bit sketchy at the moment and decriptions of the perps are a bit vague (non-existent).
I wonder what type of people would do such a thing?

Two dead in Manchester synagogue attack, with suspect also believed to have been killed - police (BBC live news)

Cars of peace - check, stabby-stabby - check, suicide vest - check, no description of attacker - check.

Could it be Alan Snackbar?

A British citizen of Syrian descent. If you dig a bit deeper he came over as a child migrant and was granted British citizenship, so they can't say British born and bred like they did about the Southport killer. That must really aggravate the left but at least they got in 'British' and not 'Muslim' in his description. Rolling Eyes

As one reporter said, it was something waiting to happen with the anti Israeli rhetoric flying around the country. There will be more I expect.

Just because the attacker was called Jihad Al-Shamie, we can't just assume that they were Muslim.

I'm presuming that statement is rather 'tongue in cheek' Ste. Laughing

From your quoted article......

Robin Simcox, commissioner for countering extremism, told the BBC's Newsnight programmne that there was an "early indicator" that the attack was "Islamist" because of the dummy suicide vest the suspect was wearing.

His middle name must be Sherlock.

If it had been any sort of right wing incident like a hurty post on facebook at 1am there'd have been endless coverage about cracking down on far right extremists.
But you can't mention Islamic Extremists even when their name is Jihad and they get shot while on a stabby rampage.

Similarly 100s of arrests in London due to plasticine protestors attacking police and supporting terrorist group again - compare to the freedom march being described by senior politicians as far right extremists and trouble makers. organised by 'extremist' Tommy Robinson (real name Yaxley Lennon they sneeringly must add every time)

Are we not supposed to notice the constant gaslighting.
This country is being run into the ground by the marxists in charge behind every public body. They have control of Judiciary, media and education and imagine they control the narrative but it's only a limited group have seized power under the long term Fabian plans.

Farage is the only way to break this takeover but I aren't sure he can do it with every public body doing their utmost to thwart every move.

If we repeat the pattern of the US, Farage will get in and be totally stymied by The System. Someone like the Lib-Dems or Greens will get in (e.g. a "rainbow" coalition) and fuck things up even more. What comes after that will be beyond anyone's imagination Shocked

But my prediction is Labour will cheat. I did think some contrived catastrophe - e.g. Covid Mk2 - a "state of emergency" declared and elections postponed indefinitely but now? I reckon they rush Digital Id to the point where you need it to vote. "Guys, it's totally optional!" and knowing full well that potential voters leaning to the right are the most likely to avoid signing up.

A catalogue of believable errors will unfold: the election will be declared late, a scramble to register for the digital id, a backlog processing applications. Mysterious power failures at several polling stations. Proper tin foil hat stuff but a similar pattern to the US 2020 elections. The end result? A minority Labour government survives, goes into coalition with the Greens and England is finally destroyed Sad

They are already playing up his imaginary 'Russian links' again, I would not be surprised if they somehow manage to ban him being a candidate or raise such a fuss between them that they think they can get away with it. The conference shows they are utterly obsessed with demonising reform and farage, it is quite bizarre.

Bad things will happen if that's how they play it because too many people know what's going on. It isn't 1978 with the BBC able to tell almost everyone what to believe.

Reform is not just farage now anyway.
Must say I don't much like him however he has a way of just getting on with almost everyone in a 'likeable' way and getting deals done (?) - which is a novel concept for a politician these days as most of them would rather posture for the special interest groups that back them.

If they don't win next election they will have a lot of say in what happens as they will almost certainly be second largest party.
It may be surprisingly good like that with a lot of influencing going on behind scenes - or it may be a disaster.
