Hi,

I am planning to cover up the Shoei branding on my GT-Air 3 helmet. However, I was thinking, other than glossy vinyl, should I consider anything else to reduce the impact on the aerodynamics?

Thanks in advance.

I wouldn’t worry about aerodynamics, I’d worry about the solvents in the glues of the stickers damaging the integrity of the shell.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

That is a good point. Thanks for pointing it out.

Appreciate it.

If you are looking to make a statement, nothing shouts "I'm a Squid! Dance!" quite like a mohawk wig firmly affixed to your helmet. They come in various styles to suit your mood.

You have the standard soft bristle broom style.

You can get a jagged plastic stick-on for that Bart Simpson look.

Ghey scootie boyz can even get a rainbow mohawk for "Pride Week".

Unfortunately, my favorite is not Snell Approved.

Personally, I don't have one on my helmet because I'm a little old for that sort of thing. Perhaps in another 10 or 15 years, intense longing for the exhuberence of youth might cause me to reconsider. For now I prefer to preserve what little dignity I have left. Cool

I'd quite like one of these, but I can see a few small problems with it Laughing
