Just bought a PS3 (my first games console in 8 years) and I'm after some games. I'm not a massive gamer and find it hard to get into games. I bought Batman something or other because of the raving online reviews and being ranked one of the best PS3 games ever, but I can't really get into it so I'll probably end up selling it. What I'm after is a good motorbike game, something like MotoGP 2011 (or 12?). Any recommendations?

You can also get SBK '09 for about £3.99 if you want to see what the SBK games are like.

^ A few people on Amazon in their reviews have said MotoGP is better. So far you're the first to say SBK is better Smile

If you can get Moto GP 08 for PS3, get it.
I spent 6 months of my wheelchair ridden time playing this game on X360 after a twonk knocked me off my bike.

Was fun Thumbs Up

SBK is the superior game, even if it has the inferior licence.


I've had 09 and SBK:X.
The latter was a real step up from 2009, and can be had for less than a tenner;

+1, the last motogp got uninstalled after 15 minutes, sbk x is actually quite enjoyable.

Honestly, I liked SBK:X a bit more because it felt tighter and the handling was more challenging, but in a good way. MotoGP 08 is decent too, but I always found myself coming back to SBK games when I wanted something a bit more realistic. Renting first like someone mentioned is a solid idea if you’re not looking to spend much before deciding.
