Try PKR.

You can play for practice money, there's some free rolls and big tournaments

Also the system is great and you can call people Losers and make chicken noises at them.

I have started on PKR , like the software and the way you are actually sat at the table Laughing

Dislike freerolls though, as it's a lot of going all in and awful play since people aren't losing any money.

The articles are a nice touch Smile

I play on pkr. It's really good, but the software is quite detailed and sometimes makes my internetwebthingy go a bit slow.

Yes we know you love Stars!
I didn't really like party poker when I dl'ed it and used play money, quite like PKR atm, whether the novelty will wear off idk..

Why do stars insist on taking passport and driving license details when 888 and pkr are happy with paypal?

So what, it's self-imposed to ensure they're whiter than white?

Not 100% sure but if I was running a poker site, I would not want to get $xmillion fines and be shut down and investigated by various government departments around the world for fraud.

It is a fool proof way of identifying someone and if anyone is cheating or money laundering, it can be detected easily. Not many people have more than one passport.

Yeah I suppose, just wondered why it was only Stars that demand that much..

RE: 'Kickers' Are they literally the high card in your hand? For example King Jack Vs Jack 9 the Jack pairs giving us both one pair, Ace on the River.. Does the Ace on the River give us both Jack pair Ace kicker?

Or is it Jack pair King kicker/9 kicker, because that's the card in your hand?
If that makes sense?

Make the best hand with 5 cards.

e.g.

KJ
J9

board

J A 4 3 4

Both have the same best 5 card hand.

Well that's what I thought but I just won the hand? Definitely both having one pair of jacks, with a rivered ace :S

Hi guys, been looking to start playing poker finally since I got free time. Is there a video tutorial where I could check?

How about looking on youtube rather than digging up fucking ancient threads on bike forum.

I learned poker basics playing against friends before touching any software, which actually helped because PC casino games sometimes mess up the rules or don’t follow standard betting. Real poker (especially Texas Holdem) goes by strict rounds—starts with blinds, then each player can fold, call, or raise in turns. The round only ends when everyone has either matched the highest bet or folded, and if someone raises, others get the chance to match or go even higher before it moves to the next phase (like the flop, turn, or river). Live games are honestly the best way to get the hang of the flow and reactions.

About raises, yeah—it’s easy to get mixed up on totals the first few times. If you call £5 and then raise £10, you’re betting £15, so the next player must put in £15 to stay in. From there, someone else could re-raise, which means more money in the pot and another round of decisions. It takes a few real hands before it becomes automatic. If you want a bit more risk-free practice (and not just play money tables), you can find no deposit codes here for popular casino sites to try games and tournaments without committing your own cash upfront.
