A new toilet. The one we have is old and leaks but I want to retile the whole toilet at the same time. I have brought a chemical toilet off the boat because its going to take a couple of days to do everything. Wifie won't shit in a bucket so time to fuck her off to her sisters for a few days.

A pair of JBL Tour Pro 3 earbuds. Astounding sound quality and really effective noise cancelling. They're not cheap but I've always been a fan of JBL audio technology and especially their speakers. Would recommend.

There were a lot of JBL speakers dotted around the factory where I worked.
Surprisingly good sound quality in that environment with robust build quality for the money.

We used to use a lot of JBL stuff for front of house and foldback systems in the 70s and 80s and to the best of my knowledge they still make professional PA speakers. They also used to manufacture some very nice studio monitors as well.

They seem to have products in both high end audio and mainstream markets (Bluetooth speakers seem to be a popular product they do).

The Tour Pro earbuds are very good with a nice balanced sound. Plenty of rich bass with clear tops and mids and excellent definition. I've listened to other offerings like airpods and while they're good I think the JBLs have the edge soundwise and are far more secure in my ears.

I've heard of Pula IEMs, they're supposed to be very good indeed Smile

So I sold my Porsche. It was too much hassle, it may have needed expensive work soon, and some @rsehole keyed it a few months back. I thought I'd go a bit more 'stealth' and holy heck if it's not amazing fun (for a cage). I'd go as far as to say it's more fun than the Porsche on the road, although sadly I never took the Porker on track. Apparently it's been remapped and makes 310bhp. And weighs 1200kg. Which is not a lot, for a car.

No chance you get 40mpg if you are driving normally, let alone having fun.

But yes, point taken. First name terms with bossman at the local esso.

I did manage to get 40mpg on the motorway at the weekend... but as soon as I came off the slip road it dropped down to 37mpg.

Both. Laughing

Stripping down the previous incarnation is the starting point for a new build. The new frame required different forks, different headset cups and a different rear brake so the new build is underway and the build will continue until I change the frame again. Laughing

It's going to need a different dropper with less travel than the one from my previous bike had and that's next on the shopping list. At some point I want carbon rims but those quite hard to justify to myself.

I'm already counting down the miles until I can start considering whether or not I want to change to the new di2 kit but I can't even attempt to justify that to myself until I wear my current drivetrain out. Sad
